The City Day of Tajikistan is held annually every third Saturday in April. The holiday is of historical and cultural importance to the people and is a symbol of the achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In honor of the celebration\nof the City Day, cultural, entertainment, sports and other mass events were\nheld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TNU staff, teachers and students took an active part in this events. On this day TNU staff, teachers and students took part in the cleanup. The event took place at the University\u2019s main building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As well, students took an active part in the International Half Marathon, which is being held in the capital of Tajikistan for the 11th time. Both local runners and runners from different countries took part in the half marathon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dushanbe half marathon is included in the list of competitions of the International Association of Marathons and Long Distance Races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the official part of the event, a festive concert took place on Moscow&#8217;s 800th Anniversary Square in front of the
