For us the people of Tajikistan as a\npart of the world community is a source of pride, which was held on August 6,\n2021 on the basis of a joint resolution of the heads of Central Asian states in\nTurkmenbashi city of the Republic of Turkmenistan \u2013 the Founder of peace and\nnational unity, the Leader of Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon\nduring the Central Asian leaders\u2019 Summit (the President of Tajikistan Emomali\nRahmon, the President of KazahstanKosimJomartTokaev,the President of Kyrgyzstan\nSadirJaparov, the President of ShavkatMirziyoyev, and the President of\nTurkmenistan GurbonguliBerdimuhammedov) was awarded with the first highest\naward \u2013 the Medal of Honor of the Heads of Central Asian States for meritorious\nservices in the development of friendly relations, good neighborliness, mutual\nunderstanding and collaboration of Central Asian states, strengthening security\nin the region, promotion of joint interests and initiatives of the region\u2019s\ncountries in the international arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The\nawarding of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to this award is anotherproof\nthatthe President of Tajikistan as the Head of State and executive power for\nthe people of Tajikistan as the guardian of the Constitution and laws, human\nand civil rights and freedoms, guarantor of national independence, unity and\nterritorial integrity, stability of the state, regularity of state bodies and\ntheir cooperation, promotes the main directions of domestic and foreign policy\nof the republic at the highest level, represents Tajikistan as a responsible\nand exemplary state in the country and in international relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The\npeople of Tajikistan propose and support the adoption of the Constitutional Law\nof the Republic of Tajikistan \u201cOn the Founder of peace and national unity \u2013 The\nLeader of Nation\u201d from 14 November, 2016, \u2116 1356\nEmomali Rahmon was elected as an outstanding historical personality of the\nnation, who was elected the head of state at the sixteenth session of the\nSupreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, made a unique contribution to\nthe establishment of the state system of independent Tajikistan, the\nrestoration of the constitutional order, the achievement of peace and national\nunity, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, he\nwas elected President of the Republic of Tajikistan by popular votein 1994, he\nplayed a significant role in the structure of a sovereign, democratic, law \u2013\nbased, secular and social state, rescued the nation from disintegration, the\nstate from extinction and civil war, and made significant contributions to the\ndevelopment of economic, social, historical and cultural policy of the\nindependent state of Tajikistan and formalized his long \u2013 term idea with this\nlaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Thanks\nto the wise policy of the Founder of peace and national unity, the Leader of\nNation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon since independence the state is\nglobally recognized not only to establish fruitful relations with foreign\ncountries, but also to find its own diplomatic approach, based on the\nprotection of national interests and respect for universal values, as an active\nand influential country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Through\nthe consistent efforts of Emomali Rahmon as a President of the Republic of Tajikistan,\nTajikistan has been\nestablished diplomatic relations with most countries of the world and 160\ncountries have officially recognized the independence of Tajikistan. Tajikistan is a\nmember of regional and most international organizations, and defends national\nvalues and interests, expresses his views on global issues and makes specific\nproposals on how to solve them. The Republic\n of Tajikistan is a member\nof 57 regional and international organizations, and it plays a role in solving\nthe world\u2019s political, security, economic, social and cultural problems\ntogether with other countries. Tajikistan\nconsiders extensive regional cooperation as the most important tool for solving\neconomic, trade, social,environmental and security and stability issues in Central Asia at the time of independence and supports the\npeaceful and friendly coexistence of the peoples of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The\nLeader of Nation at the opening of the new building of the Ministry of Foreign\nAffairs of the Republic of Tajikistan stressed in his speech, that \u201cThe\nLeadership of the Republic of Tajikistan considers extensive regional\ncooperation as the most important tool for addressing economic, social,\necological and security issues in Central Asia, and he has demonstrated this\nperspective several times in its political practice over the past twenty years.\nWe will be able to withstand modern global threats and challenges together and\nin a constructive and in trusting manner in the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In\nhis message which was in 2019, the Leader of Nation called one of the most\nimportant foreign policy achievements of the country the establishment of\nbilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan,\nnoting that \u201cin 2018, bilateral relations have undergone historic changes in\nour neighbor and friend Uzbekistan, and we have fully resolved all the pressing\nissues that have arisen between the two countries over the past twenty years,\nbringing our cooperation to the level of a strategic partnership\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The\nLeader of the State stressed at the Central Asian Leaders\u2019 Summit which was held on August 6, 2021, that\n\u201cWe are ready for close cooperation in the fields of trade, industrial\nproduction, digital economy, innovation and modern technology in the field of\ntourism and ensuring food security, transport and energy security\u201d. The\nPresident of the country Emomali Rahmon also proposed a number of beneficial\nmeasures, emphasizing the need for further expand trade and economic\ncollaboration, including in the fields of industry, energy, transport,\ncommunication, strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties, including tourism,\nexpanding cooperation in health, especially welfare, sanitary and\nepidemiological surveillance of the population and close cooperation between\nthe security structures of the two countries in the joint fight against\nsecurity threats and challenges. It was noted that in the current situation,\nthe collaboration of Central Asian countries in the fight against terrorism,\nextremism, radicalism, drug trafficking, cybercrime and transnational organized\ncrime requires urgent measures, evaluating trade, economics, investment,\nagriculture, various industries, development of transport and communication\ninfrastructure, rational and efficient use of water resources and the\ncoronavirus pandemic are important areas of cooperation has attracted the\nattention of the audience in the region of Central Asian countries.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The\nPresident of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon also plays a role in the establishment\nand development of regional and international organizations. Particularly, the\nissue of conversation of the \u201cShanghai Five\u201d into the Shanghai Cooperation\nOrganization was raised by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon during a\nmeeting of heads of the state in Dushanbe (July 5, 2000). Later in the Council\nof Heads of State, on June 15, 2001, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was\nestablished in the People\u2019s Republic of China,\nthe Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The Republic of Tajikistan\nhas done a lot of significant work since joining this\norganization.Particularly, the Council of Heads of State and Governmentof SCO\n(Shanghai Cooperation Organization) Member Stateswas chaired in Tajikistan in\n2008 and 2014, while in 2006 \u2013 2010 and 2018. This year, which marks the 20th<\/sup>\nanniversary with the provisions of the Jubilee Session of the Shanghai\nCooperation Organization will be held in Dushanbe in 2021and is chaired by the Council\nof Heads of State of the Republic of Tajikistan. It is obviously clear that\ncurrent reputation of Tajikistan\nat the international level is the result of the President of the State Emomali\nRahmon\u2019s consistent and tireless efforts. Tajikistan has been acceptedas\nnumber of influential international organizations, from the constructive\ninitiatives of President of the country to address global challenges, including\nthe fight against terrorism and extremism, drugs, translational organized\ncrime, environmental issues and like these will be presented to the world.\nEspecially, the Leader of nation\u2019s series of initiatives addresses the water\nproblems of the world, with a focus on the importance of the issue, has led to\na unique presentation of Tajikistan\nin the international arena.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The\nPresident of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon\u2019s work has been recognized with several\ninternational award as an international \u2013 level politician and exemplary model.\nParticularly, United Nation\u2019s Peace Prize, Commonwealth of Independence States\u2019\nMedal of Honor for great contribution to strengthening and development of the\nCommonwealth, friendship, god neighborliness, mutual understanding, mutually\nbeneficial cooperation within the CIS (Commonwealth of Independence States),\ngold medal of the International Peace Federation \u201cIn honor of peace and harmony\namong peoples\u201d and the medal, many emblems of individual states and regional\nand international organizations. Analyzing above reality, we can say with\nconfidence that the School of Statehood of Emomali Rahmon has become a model for\nthe leaders of Central Asia and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
