On August 27,\n2021, a scientific and theoretical conference was held on the theme ” Emomali\nRahmon is one of the founders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference was\njointly organized by the Center for Strategic Research under the President of\nthe Republic of Tajikistan, National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, the\nAcademy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of\nTajikistan and the Tajik National University. The\nconference was attended by representatives of ministries and government\nagencies, research centers and institutions, scientists, experts, local and\nforeign journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the event was to assess the role\nand contribution of the Founder of Peace and National Unity \u2014 the Leader of the\nNation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali\nRahmon in the creation, formation and development of the SCO and discuss the\nconstructive initiatives of the Leader of the Nation within the framework of\nthis Organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following issues were discussed and considered at the conference:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 The contribution of the Founder of Peace and National Unity \u2014 the\nLeader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the esteemed\nEmomali Rahmon in establishing the SCO;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Initiatives of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon within the\nframework of the SCO:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Political initiatives;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Security initiatives;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Economic initiatives;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Humanitarian initiatives;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 The role of Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon in the development of\nthe SCO;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Initiatives and contributions of Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon\nin discussing peace and security issues in Afghanistan within the SCO;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon\u2019s contribution to the development\nof Tajikistan\u2019s multilateral diplomacy within the SCO framework;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 The role of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon in forming a\npositive image of the Republic of Tajikistan within the SCO framework;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 \u00abShanghai Diplomacy\u00bb as an achievement of the foreign policy of the\nRepublic of Tajikistan during the period of state independence;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 The role and place of the SCO in the new international system;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 SCO: 20 years of achievements and prospects of cooperation\ndevelopment;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 The role of SCO in the discussion of current international problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference was opened with welcoming remarks by Khurshed Ziyoi,\nDirector of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the\nRepublic of Tajikistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the speeches were followed by the addresses of Nurullo Okilzoda,\nSenior Adviser of the Office of the Assistant to the President of the Republic\nof Tajikistan on Social Development and Public Affairs,
\nFarhod Rahimi, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan,\nRashid Alimov, former SCO Secretary-General (2016-2018), Abduhalil Gafurzoda,\nRector of the SCO Friendship and Cooperation Centre under the President of\nTajikistan and Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the\nPresident of the Republic of Tajikistan and Qobiljon Khushvakhtzoda, Rector of\nTajik National University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference continued in the following sections: ” The role of Emomali Rahmon in the formation and evolution of the SCO”, ” Tajikistan and SCO: 20 years of achievements and cooperation prospects “, ” Role of the Republic of Tajikistan in the development of sectoral cooperation within the SCO.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
