On the 1st of\nSeptember the traditional solemn ceremony, devoted to the Day of Knowledge, was\nheld in Tajik National University. The event was attended by students, teachers\nand staff of the University administration. Distinguished invitees included Deputy\nPrime Minister Sattoriyon Matlubahon Amonzoda and Minister of Education of the\nRepublic of Tajikistan Mahmadyusuf Imomzoda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening\nceremony was led by the Rector of the University Professor Khushvakhtzoda Q.\nKh., he greeted the audience and congratulated teachers, students and university\nstaff with The Day of Knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputy Prime\nMinister Sattoriyon Matlubahon Amonzoda and Minister of Education of the\nRepublic of Tajikistan Mahmadyusuf Imomzoda joined in the congratulations to\nthe university staff on the beginning of a new academic year. It was noted that\nthe main goal of the Government is to improve the level and quality of\neducation and train specialists who can be competitive in the labour market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event and on the eve of the great national holiday – the 30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, a number of staff and teachers of TNU received state awards for their fruitful work and invaluable contribution to the development of science and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
