On January 11, 2024, Hong Wan-Suk, Head of the Department of Russian and CIS Studies, Graduate School of International and Area Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) (Korea) visited the Tajik National University (TNU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main purpose of the visit was to discuss the cooperation between the TNU and the HUFS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guests were warmly greeted by the rector of the TNU, Professor Khushvakhtzoda Qobiljon Khushvakht, who \u00a0acquainted the guests with the \u00a0history, structure,\u00a0educational\u00a0and\u00a0scientific\u00a0potential of the TNU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, the parties agreed on cooperation between universities in the areas of training language professionals and organizing language courses, academic exchange, holding seminars, symposiums and conferences. The Korean side also proposed to create a Center for the Study of the Korean Language on the basis of TNU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to prepare a draft of the collaboration agreement and also exchanged valuable gifts as a sign of fraternity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
