Today, the first university stage of the Republican contest &#8220;Science \u2014 Light of Knowledge&#8221; was held at Tajik National University (TNU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/tnu.tj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/img_4948-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-76937\" style=\"width:576px;height:384px\" width=\"576\" height=\"384\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tnu.tj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/img_4948-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/tnu.tj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/img_4948-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tnu.tj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/img_4948-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/tnu.tj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/img_4948-1-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/tnu.tj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/img_4948-1-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/tnu.tj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/img_4948-1-696x464.jpg 696w, https:\/\/tnu.tj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/img_4948-1-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https:\/\/tnu.tj\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/img_4948-1-630x420.jpg 630w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The contest was opened with a welcome speech by the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Professor Safarmamadzoda S.M., who emphasized the scientific and educational significance of the competition, noting that it helps showcase many young talents in the field of natural sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It should be noted that the competition was held at the faculty level with the participation of 562 teachers, staff members, students, master&#8217;s students, and doctoral candidates. Of this number, 112 participants advanced to the university stage.
