Every year, on the third Saturday of April, the Capital City Day of the Republic of Tajikistan \u2013 the city of Dushanbe \u2013 is celebrated. This year, the date falls on April 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this regard, today a scientific and cultural gathering dedicated to the Capital City Day of the Republic of Tajikistan \u2013 the city of Dushanbe \u2013 was held at the Tajik National University (TNU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the National Anthem was played, the event was officially opened by Doctor of Law, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, and Rector of TNU, Nasriddinzoda Emomali Saifiddin. In his speech, he noted that our beloved capital \u2013 the city of Dushanbe \u2013 as the administrative center of the independent state of Tajikistan and the mirror of the civilized Tajik nation, with the constant support and care of the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and through the initiatives and efforts of the leadership of the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe city, Honorable Rustam Emomali, is becoming more beautiful and developed with each passing day, transforming into one of the most beautiful capital cities in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grand event continued with a cultural program performed by the \u201cNavruz\u201d Folk Ensemble of the University and well-known singers of the country.
