Today, on December 9, 2025, within the framework of the project “Bridging Environmental Concerns, Societal Needs, and Good Governance in Central Asian Education and Employment Sectors”, an international seminar titled \u201cIntegration of Environmental, Social, and Governance Principles: Risk Management\u201d was held at Tajik National University (TNU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening ceremony of the seminar was attended by the Rector of TNU, Professor Nasriddinzoda E.S., representatives of relevant ministries and agencies of the Republic \u043ef Tajikistan, as well as experts from Central Asian and European countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the seminar, it was noted that environmental, social, and governance issues are among the key priorities of the global community and contribute to ensuring sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Republic of Tajikistan, under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity \u2014 Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, plays a leading role in promoting issues related to water, climate, and environmental security at the international level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was highlighted that TNU is the only higher education institution in the country that trains specialists in the field of \u201cgreen economy,\u201d and significant work has been carried out in this direction within the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants emphasized that the results of the discussions and the exchange of experience will contribute to strengthening regional cooperation and advancing sustainable development in the countries of Central Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
