On December 8, 2023, for the first time in Tajikistan, UNDP “Rule of Law and Access to Justice” in cooperation with UNDP project ” Supporting Legal Education for Women and Girls in Tajikistan ” held a national mock trial competition on the occasion of Human Rights Day.
5 university teams of the country took part in this competition: Tajik National University (TNU), Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University, Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, Khorog State University named after M. Nazarshoev and Dangara State University.
This competition was held with the participation of international experts and representatives of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan.
TNU team showed good skills and became the Best Team: Written argument.
This morning the rector of TNU, Professor Q.Kh. Khushvakhtzoda personally met with the TNU team and congratulated them on their excellent results, and also wished them luck on their upcoming competitions.
