Today, April 16, 2025, in celebration of Capital City Day – the city of Dushanbe – a national wrestling competition was held at the National University of Tajikistan among students of various university faculties.
The competition took place at the university’s sports complex located in the Student Campus, where students competed in the 65 kg, 71 kg, 86 kg, and 88 kg weight categories. The winners were awarded certificates of honor and valuable prizes by the university administration.
The aim of organizing such sports events is to promote and develop sports, ensure mass participation and improve student health, as well as to celebrate Capital City Day – the city of Dushanbe – in a highly organized and festive manner.
