From September 20 to 27, 2025, the city of Sochi (Russian Federation) hosted the International Astronomy Olympiad OWAO-2025, which brought together talented young people from various countries around the world.
A student of the Faculty of Physics of Tajik National University (TNU), Huseyni Gulomzoda, participated in the Olympiad and proudly won a bronze medal.
The main goal of the event was to promote the study of exact sciences among young people, to foster scientific thinking and research skills, and to identify gifted students in the field of astronomy and related disciplines.
