On November 7, a ceremonial meeting of the heads of Confucius Institutes was held in Beijing, during which a number of heads of Confucius Institutes were awarded certificates for effective activities.
The meeting was attended by representatives of TNU, headed by the rector of TNU, Professor Khushvakhtzoda Qobiljon Khushvakht.
The meeting heard reports from the heads of a number of Institutes, including the Confucius Institute of Education and Culture at TNU.
One of the activities of this institute is to determine the level of knowledge of the Chinese language through online tests. The Chinese language proficiency test (HSK) is conducted every year at a certain time both in China and abroad, including at the Confucius Institute at TNU. Candidates who achieve significant results in these tests can receive a “Chinese Language Certificate” at the appropriate level. The HSK test consists of a written test and a speaking test.
At this meeting, the Confucius Institute at TNU received the Certificate of “Best Examination Center” among 550 Confucius Centers. The Confucius Institute has been awarded such an international certificate for the fourth time during its work.
It is worth noting that within the framework of friendly cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and China, the Confucius Institute of Education and Culture was established in 2008 on the basis of TNU. Today, the Confucius Institute of Education and Culture plays a significant role in promoting the rich culture of Tajikistan and China and the development of the Chinese language.
