Students of the Natural and Mathematical Lyceum at the Tajik National University participated and took pride of place in the 19th International Olympiad held at the Ural State Pedagogical University among students in grades 5-11 in 13 subjects, including history, sociology, foreign languages – Russian, English, German, French, literature, mathematics, physics, computer science, chemistry and biology. This Olympiad was held between educational institutions of Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and students of the University Lyceum won six gold medals – 1st place, eight silver medals – second place and eight bronze medals – 3rd place. Also, 20 students were awarded certificates of appreciation for the active participation.
At the same time, the leadership of the University and the administration of the Lyceum, as well as its teachers, were awarded letters of thanks by the organizing committee of the Olympiad for close cooperation and assistance.
Today Rector of the TSNU, Professor Khushvakhtzoda K.Kh. sincerely congratulated the winning team with one more achievement.
