Today 2 September, 2023 the President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Akihiko Tanaka, who is in the Republic of Tajikistan on an official visit, visited to the Tajik National Unversity and met with teachers and staff of the university.
The high-ranking guest – the President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Akihiko Tanaka was welcomed by the Rector of the Tajik national Unversity, Khushvakhtzoda Kobiljon Khushvakht and other representatives of diplomatic structures of the Republic of Tajikistan. Then the guests were introduced with the scientific and technical achievements of the university, which the officials displayed in the courtyard of the university with a new and modern design.
After watching the achievements of the university, the guest of honor – Akihiko Tanaka held a meeting with the teachers and staff of the university at the main hall of the university.
Rector of the Tajik national Unversity Khushvakhtzoda K.Kh. welcomed the guests and spoke about the cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Japan in the field of education. Continuing his speech, Rector presented a Decision of the Council of Scientists of the university on electing the President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Akihiko Tanaka as an honorary member of the Council of Scientists and an honorary doctorate of the Tajik national University.
The guest of honor – Akihiko Tanaka in his speech spoke about the contribution of science and education and diplomatic issues in the expansion of cooperation, as well as economic and diplomatic issues.
