PRESENTING OF NEWLY PUBLISHED BOOKS TO THE JAPAN STUDIES CENTER

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Japan continue to expand, fostering the development of scientific and educational cooperation. As part of strengthening these ties, the Center for Japanese Studies was established at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Law Faculty of Tajik National University.

Today, on April 3, 2025, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, 87 newly published books were donated to the Center for Japanese Studies by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan, Mrs. Keiko Furuta, to enrich the center with educational and academic materials.

The distinguished guest, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan, Mrs. Keiko Furuta, as well as representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in the Republic of Tajikistan, were welcomed by the First Vice-Rector of Tajik National University, F.K. Rajabzoda.

During the book handover, it was emphasized that this initiative would contribute to the development of scientific and educational cooperation by providing students and researchers with additional opportunities to study the history and culture of Japan. The donated books, covering various scientific and cultural topics, will play a significant role in the activities of the Center for Japanese Studies.
