For the fifth year, the Republican contest ” Science — Light of Knowledge ” has been held in our country, under the patronage of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. Today, the first university stage of the Republican contest “Science — Light of Knowledge” was held at Tajik National University (TNU).
The contest was opened with a welcome speech by the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Professor Safarmamadzoda S.M., who emphasized the scientific and educational significance of the competition, noting that it helps showcase many young talents in the field of natural sciences.
It should be noted that the competition was held at the faculty level with the participation of 562 teachers, staff members, students, master’s students, and doctoral candidates. Of this number, 112 participants advanced to the university stage. It is expected that the winners will proceed to the regional and national stages of the contest.
