October 30, 2020 has become a historic day in modern history of our country. On this day, the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took place.
The president’s inauguration ceremony was broadcast live on national radio and television and was watched by residents of Tajikistan, including teachers, staff and students of the Tajik National University.
The ceremony began at the Palace of the Nation, continued in the Kokhi Somon Palace – the city residence of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and ended in the Dusti Square, where the Armed Forces gave their oath to their Commander-in-Chief to mark his inauguration.
