OPEN DOORS DAY AT TAJIK NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Every year, as a tradition, universities across the country hold meetings with applicants, i.e., graduates of general education schools, lyceums, and gymnasiums. Today (05.04.2025), in the large hall of the Student Campus of Tajik National University, an event called “Open Doors Day” was held with the participation of the rector of TNU, Professor Nasriddinzoda E.S., deans of faculties, and their deputies. The event also included teachers and graduates from secondary schools in the capital and various regions of the country, as well as graduates of the TNU lyceum.

First, the applicants were welcomed by the folk ensemble “Navruz” of the University with the beautiful sounds of spring music. After that, they visited the university’s exhibition, which featured the scientific and educational achievements of the faculty members, staff, and students from various faculties.

Then, in the hall, the rector of the university gave a speech, talking about the university’s activities and achievements. He noted that today Tajik National University is one of the largest scientific and educational centers in the country, which, with the constant support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, has created the best conditions for students. It was also mentioned that the university has signed a number of cooperation agreements with foreign universities, and talented students can continue their studies abroad. During the speech, there were discussions about special foreign language courses, choosing different specialties, and the educational process at the university.

At the end, the applicants visited the faculties, learned about the educational centers, scientific laboratories, learning conditions at the faculties, and the S&T faculty of Journalism and the Museum of the Founder of the Nation. Additionally, they had conversations with the faculty representatives and some professors to discuss their future professional choices.
