President Emomali Rahmon on January 31 declared the period of 2020-2040 as the “Period of 20 years of learning and development of natural and hard sciences in the Republic of Tajikistan”. In this regard, the Tajik National University is holding the first International Physics Olympiad dedicated to the world-famous Tajik scientist -Encyclopedist Abuali Ibn Sino.
The opening ceremony of the International Physics Olympiad took place on March 29.
The first round of the Olympiad was held at the Faculty of Physics of the Tajik National University. It was attended by around 60 students from Tajikistan, Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan.
Students were placed in five classrooms, where tasks were prepared in three languages: Tajik, Russian and English. Runtime four hours.
The results of the Olympiad will be announced on March 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM
